Terms of service

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of alestrasara.shop (“Colorune”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or generating a page you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

All correspondence about these terms goes to support@alestrasara.shop.

2. What the service does

Colorune takes either a photograph you upload or a short written description, generates black-and-white line art from it using an artificial-intelligence image model, processes that art for printing, and gives you the result as a downloadable file.

• Every page is generated by an AI image model. Output varies between attempts and is not guaranteed to match any particular expectation. See the AI content disclosure.
• Text such as titles is typeset by our software in a real font, not drawn by the model, so that spelling is always correct.
• The service is provided as-is for personal and business use. It is not a design agency and we do not promise any specific artistic outcome.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to hold an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details to yourself and for activity on your account.
• One person or organisation per account. Do not share a paid account to get around the page allowance.
• You can close your account at any time from the account page, or by emailing us.

4. Plans, prices and automatic renewal

All prices are stated and charged in US Dollars (USD). The current plans are:

• Paid plans renew automatically every month on the same day of the month as your first payment, at the price shown above, until you cancel. We tell you this clearly before you pay.
• Your page allowance resets on each renewal date. Unused pages do not roll over and have no cash value.
• Cancel at any time with no fee and no notice period. See the fulfilment, refunds and cancellation policy.
• The Free plan is genuinely free. It gives you 3 watermarked pages per calendar month, never asks for card details, and never converts into a paid plan by itself.
• Price changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not want the new price, cancel before the next renewal and you will not be charged it.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails we will retry a small number of times over several days and email you. If it still fails, the account drops to the Free plan rather than accruing a debt.
• Taxes. Prices are exclusive of any sales tax, VAT or GST that may apply in your country. Where such tax applies it is shown at checkout before you pay.

How payments are handled

Card payments are processed entirely by an external payment provider certified to PCI DSS Level 1. Your card details are entered on that provider's secure form and are never seen, handled or stored by Colorune. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded, plus the last four digits and card brand so you can recognise the card on your account page.

The site is served over HTTPS throughout. On your card statement the charge appears under a descriptor that includes alestrasara.shop.

5. Who owns what

Your input

Photographs and descriptions you supply remain yours. You give us only the limited permission needed to run the service — to process your upload in order to generate your page, and to store it briefly as described in the privacy policy. We do not use your uploads to train any model.

Pages you generate

• On any paid plan you receive a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, modify, print, distribute and sell the pages you generate, including in colouring books you publish commercially. The licence survives cancellation of your subscription.
• On the Free plan pages carry a visible watermark and are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. You may print them for your own family, classroom or friends; you may not sell them or use them in anything you sell.
• Because AI output is not guaranteed to be unique, we do not claim that any page is original or that it can be registered as your copyright. We simply do not stand in your way.
• You are responsible for making sure that what you ask for and what you do with the result is lawful where you are. See copyright and intellectual property.

Our material

The Colorune name, logo, site design, sample pages shown on this site and the software behind the service belong to us. Nothing here transfers any of that to you.

6. How you may not use the service

The acceptable use policy forms part of these terms. In short, do not use Colorune to generate copyrighted characters or brands, anything resembling an official document, face swaps or images of real people who are not you, imitations of a named living artist's style, adult content, or graphic violence. Do not attempt to circumvent the filters, scrape the service, resell access to it, or overload it.

7. Suspension and termination

• We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms or the acceptable use policy. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first.
• If we close your account for a serious breach, unused subscription time is not refunded. See the refund policy.
• You may close your account at any time.
• We may discontinue the service. If we do, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email and refund the unused part of any current billing period.

8. Availability and warranty

We work to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. The service and everything it produces are provided “as is”, without warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. For material changes that affect your rights we will email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

11. Disputes

Please email support@alestrasara.shop first. Almost everything is settled that way within a day or two. Nothing in these terms prevents you from bringing a claim in the courts of the country where you live, or from using a consumer dispute resolution scheme available to you there.
